Arkansas Healthcare Exchange Providers for Individuals, Families, and Small Employers

The 5 insurance companies below have requested to offer qualified health plans that meet the ObamaCare essential benefits to Arkansas residents. Each of Arkansas’s 75 counties must offer a choice from at least least two health insurance providers.

  • Arkansas Blue Cross Blue Shield
  • National Blue Cross Blue Shield Multi-state Plan*
  • Celtic Insurance Company/NovaSys Health
  • QCA Health Plan d/b/a Qual Choice of Arkansas
  • United Security Life and Health Company out of Chicago*
  • *It is still unclear if multi-state plans are eligible to offer plans. The decision is still dependent on a decision from the feds, through the U.S. Office of Personnel Management. If they are approved, one or two other multi-state carriers may be added to Arkansas’ list of providers. We will update with any new information.
