ObamaCare Individual Mandate May Not Happen
Members of Congress are requesting a delay on the individual mandate for the Health Insurance Exchange until 2015. This comes on the heels of the Obama Administration’s delay of the small group mandate and the glitch in the computer system forcing providers to charge all smokers the same penalty.
With millions already spent on advertising, hiring, training, building websites, and research, we are waiting to see how the Obama Administration handles the request to hold off on the new “metal” plans for one more year. These plans are known as the Bronze Plan, Silver Plan, Gold Plan, and Platinum Plan.
