ObamaCare Exchange Plans Not as Easy to Purchase As Claimed
ObamaCare plans are being touted as easy as purchasing airfare or a hotel room through Travelocity, however according to the Associated Press most people will find that it is a difficult transaction. The new Health Insurance Exhange plans are called the Bronze Plan, Silver Plan, Gold Plan, and Platinum Plan.
The plans are not being executed as planned, as the Associated Press reports, “Struggling with a deadline crunch, some states are delaying online tools that could make it easier for consumers to find the right plan when the markets go live on Oct. 1.”
On top of the states struggling to get deadlines, the federal government has not produced the technology “platform” for the 35 states it will be running or partnering with states for the new Exchange.
Many people are unaware that licensed brokers and agents can help them sign up for the new ObamaCare plans, help them figure out if they will receive ObamaCare subsidies, and which is the right plan for them. The currently uninsured or for the people who want to search for new insurance can contact an agent or broker who has a history working in the health field. As well as agents, like Medicoverage.com agents, are used to working with sensitive and private information -which there is a concern for identity theft when using an ObamaCare navigator.
